ENVIRONMENT: Our client is a mobile communication platform designed to connect deskless and frontline workers who lack corporate email or digital access.  They are looking for a highly driven and commercially astute Business Development Manager to accelerate their growth by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities. This position goes beyond prospecting as you will leverage existing networks, enterprise relationships, dormant opportunities, referral channels, and previous customer relationships to build a robust sales pipeline and convert qualified opportunities into revenue-generating clients.  You will own opportunities through the full sales journey, from initial engagement and qualification through to contract signature and handover for implementation.   DUTIES: •       Pipeline Development •       Identify and engage enterprise-level prospects. •       Proactively build and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities. •       Re-engage historical leads and dormant prospects. •       Leverage existing networks, referrals, industry contacts, and previous customer relationships to generate new business. •       Conduct targeted outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, networking events, and strategic partnerships. •       Opportunity Management •       Qualify opportunities against business needs, budget, authority, timeline, and strategic fit. •       Lead discovery conversations to uncover client challenges and requirements. •       Progress opportunities through the sales funnel stages. •       Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop tailored client solutions. •       Ensure all opportunities are accurately maintained within the CRM. •       Revenue Generation •       Take ownership of opportunities through to deal closure. •       Negotiate commercial terms in conjunction with leadership where required. •       Facilitate smooth handover to implementation teams after contract signature. •       Contribute directly to new monthly recurring revenue (MRR) growth targets.   REQUIREMENTS •       3+ years of B2B sales, business development, SDR, account executive, or similar experience. •       Proven track record of generating and closing enterprise opportunities. •       Experience selling SaaS, technology, managed services, or digital solutions. •       Demonstrated success in achieving revenue targets. •       Strong understanding of consultative and solution-based selling.     ATTRIBUTES •       Exceptional relationship-building and networking abilities. •       Strong commercial and business acumen. •       Excellent questioning, negotiation, and closing skills. •       Ability to engage confidently with decision-makers and executives. •       Self-motivated, resilient, and results-driven. •       Highly organised with strong CRM discipline.
