SUMMARY:
Are you a numbers-driven problem solver with a passion for manufacturing? We’re looking for a Production Cost Controller who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys being hands-on, and has a sharp eye for detail when it comes to costs, efficiencies, and production margins.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

- Determine and calculate overhead and labour costs
- Calculate, update, and maintain standard costs on Sage X3
- Costing of new products on Sage X3
- Analyse and investigate standard vs actual cost variances
- Review production and operational costs to recommend cost-effective solutions
- Analyse and report sales and profit margins for the production division
- Review, analyse, and maintain BOMs and routings
- Manage and reconcile stock and WIP for the production division
- Responsible for production budgets (expense & capex) and investment proposals
- Collaborate with Sales, Production, Planning, and Procurement on cost calculations
- Prepare monthly management accounts and reporting for the production division

Minimum Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Cost Accountant or System Cost Analyst
- Manufacturing experience essential
- Comfortable and willing to be present on the factory floor
- Proficient with Sage X3, CaseWare, and MS Excel
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information
- Ability to read technical drawings (advantageous)
- BCom in Management Accounting or CIMA qualification (advantageous)
