As the Cost Accountant, you will work closely with production, procurement, and finance teams to monitor costs, analyse variances, and provide strategic insights that drive better business decisions. Key Responsibilities:

Analyse manufacturing costs, production variances, and inventory valuations.
Prepare and maintain standard costing systems and perform cost reconciliations.
Provide detailed cost analysis and reporting to management to support strategic decision-making.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and margin analysis to improve operational performance.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Cost Management (CIMA or CA(SA) advantageous).
Experience: Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a cost accounting role within the manufacturing or FMCG sector.
Skills: Strong Excel and ERP system proficiency (SAP or Syspro highly advantageous).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Hands-on, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a deadline-driven environment.
