SUMMARY:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional passionate about cost analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting, with a strong focus on driving profitability through data-driven insights.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership and management to enhance operational efficiency, monitor costs, and support strategic business decisions.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Cost Analysis & Financial Control Analyze and interpret financial data to determine and manage standard costs Investigate cost variances and provide actionable recommendations Monitor manufacturing, operational, and overhead costs Ensure accurate allocation of labor, materials, and overheads Budgeting & Financial Planning Assist with annual budgets and forecasts Track expenditure and report on budget variances Support financial planning and cost-control initiatives Provide insights to improve profitability and efficiency Financial Reporting Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports Compare standard costs vs actual performance Identify financial trends and provide recommendations Support management accounts and reporting processes Inventory Management Ensure accurate stock valuation and inventory control Manage costing of manufactured goods Conduct inventory reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Support stock control and financial accuracy âï¸ Compliance & Systems Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies Maintain accurate cost accounting systems Assist with improving financial controls and reporting processes Support audits with accurate documentation Business Support Partner with management to support business objectives Provide financial insights to improve performance Collaborate across finance and operational teams Minimum Requirements Qualifications Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Cost & Management Accounting Professional certifications will be advantageous Experience Proven experience in Cost Accounting or similar role Strong understanding of costing, budgeting, and reporting Manufacturing \/ production \/ industrial experience is advantageous Technical Skills ERP systems experience (SAP advantageous) Advanced Excel (analysis, reporting, financial modelling) Strong numerical and analytical capability Personal Attributes High attention to detail and accuracy Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to identify cost-saving opportunities Excellent planning and organisational skills Strong communication skills Fully bilingual Ability to work both independently and within a team Professional, ethical, and confidential How to Apply If you are a results-driven Cost Accountant looking to make an impact and grow your career, we would love to hear from you.
