POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements BCom CIMA - essential 3+ years' experience in a cost accounting environment. Manufacturing industry experience is advantageous. Strong costing and financial analysis experience. Advanced Excel skills. Key Responsibilities Prepare and analyse product and manufacturing costs, including standard and actual costing. Analyse cost variances, investigate key cost drivers and provide insights to management. Monitor production costs, overheads and inventory, ensuring accurate costing data and financial records. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and cost-control initiatives to improve profitability. Perform reconciliations, investigate discrepancies and support month-end reporting and financial close processes. Partner with production and operational teams on costing-related matters and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and cost management. Key Skills & Competencies Strong cost accounting, manufacturing and costing knowledge. Excellent analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills, with strong Excel and data analysis capabilities. Commercially minded with a strong understanding of cost drivers and profitability. High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across finance, production and operational teams.
