One of the largest PVC compound manufacturers seeks a driven and innovative Cost Accountant to join their exciting finance team based in Johannesburg South.

In this role, you will be responsible for the overall costing function, which will include standard costing of products, assisting the sales team to mine data, handling of fixed assest and CAPEX, measuring and improving factory efficiencies, variance analysis, making sure product lines are profitable, buying of raw materials and machinery and ROIs, to name but a few.

This is a great opportunity for someone who aspires to grow into a Finance Director role within the next 3 to 4 years.

Education:

BCom Honours in relevant finance field

Studying towards CIMA is a non-negotiable

Skills & Experience:

3 to 5 years'' experience in a Cost Accountant role within the FMCG / Manufacturing environment is a non-negotiable

Operational finance experience is essential for this role

Proficient in building costing models

Strong Syspro knowledge

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Strong personality

Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environment

Team player
