SUMMARY:
Seeking a Cost Accountant to join a leading company's team in Isando.

POSITION INFO:

A leading company that is passionately created by people who are consumer-obsessed, who brands remain consumer favourites year after year, is look for the perfect candidate to join their team. You will be responsible for the accurate and timeously calculation and loading of the fully absorption cost for all SKU’s as well as for the monthly reporting and validation of including but not limited to product mix, volume, conversion cost, productivity, efficiency, and manufacturing expense, summarize key findings and draw management’s attention and support for action. Conducting required cost review and valuation of stock and ensuring compliance with internal control requirements.

What you will do

Prepare and coordinate the factory budget with factory management
Develop new product costing
Ensure full transparency of costs and financial impact to the organisation of major or strategic decisions relating to the factory
Fully Absorption Cost for all SKUs
Bills of material for the Manufacturing units
Cost savings projects based on the actual production volumes
Cost analysis

Qualifications

Minimum BCom degree
