SUMMARY:
Manufacturing company based in Elandsfontein seeks a Cost Accountant with strong cost accounting experience from the manufacturing industry

POSITION INFO:

BCom in Financial Accounting
3+ years working experience as a Cost Accountant
Candidates must come from the Manufacturing industry
Analytical thinker
String reconciliations skills
Attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and handle large volumes
Month-end closing process including journal entries
Reconcile key accounts - inventory, sales, cost of sales
Participation in the budgeting process including variance analysis
Support factory teams and overhead departments with cost analysis
Assist management accountant with recovery rates and the setup and review of standard costing
Inventory management including bill of material analysis
Preparation of less complex management reports
Support audits (internal and external)
