POSITION INFO:

Job & Company Description:

Our client is a leader within the Agriculture and FMCG space. They form part of a listed group and have a strong footprint across South Africa. Their driven team is currently recruiting for a Cost Accountant to join their team. The successful incumbent will be a Chartered Accountant CA(SA) with Agriculture, FMCG, Manufacturing or similar experience within a production environment.

Duties include but not limited to:

Financial Reporting
Budgets and Forecasts
Standard Costing
Product Costing
Cost Analysis
Variance Analysis
Cost Saving Initiatives
IFRS Compliance

Education and Experience Required:

Chartered Accountant CA(SA) registered with SAICA (Non- Negotiable)
Minimum of 2-3 years’ post article experience in the commercial sector
Must come from a production environment such as the Manufacturing, FMCG or similar product-based sector
Experience working on Microsoft Dynamics highly advantageous
