SUMMARY:
A Management Accountant plays a crucial role in providing financial insights and support to help organizations make informed business decisions.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly management accounts and other financial reports, including budgets and forecasts, to provide insights into business performance.
Budget Management: Oversee budgetary planning and ensure that financial reporting aligns with company investments and regulations.
Variance Analysis: Conduct detailed variance analysis to identify discrepancies between budgeted and actual performance, providing recommendations for cost optimization.
Cost Accounting: Develop and implement cost control measures to enhance efficiency and profitability within the organization.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all financial practices comply with relevant guidelines and standards, maintaining the integrity of financial reporting.
Collaboration: Work closely with senior management and operational teams to support decision-making processes and address financial queries.
Risk Management: Analyze and manage financial risks, advising on the financial implications of business decisions to promote long-term growth and stability.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Educational Background:

A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or CPA are often preferred.
3 – 4 year experience
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
Attention to Detail: High level of numeracy and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in accounting software and financial modeling tools, along with advanced Excel skills.
