POSITION INFO:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Accountant to join a leading manufacturing firm specializing in the remanufacturing of automotive components. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial and cost accounting at a factory level, including budgeting, financial reporting, and executive presentations. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and experience in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements:

Diploma/B.Com Degree or equivalent (articles served preferred)
5+ years in manufacturing, preferably automotive remanufacturing
2-3 years of people management
Proficiency in job/process costing and financial modeling

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and manage financial statements, budgets, and costing models
Compile Bills of Materials (BOMs) in collaboration with production and stores
Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile accounts (cashbook, petty cash, WIP)
Present monthly management reports to executives
Assist in VOMS forecasting, annual stock counts, and audit processes
Implement and maintain costing systems (e.g., Embrace) and ISO 9001:2015 QMS requirements
Supervise a small team (±2-3 people) and collaborate with cross-functional departments
Ensure compliance with COID, Tax, VAT, and MIBCO regulations
