Are you a numbers-driven professional with a passion for stock control, costing, and profitability? Join a leading hospitality business in the Cape Winelands as a Cost Controller and play a key role in driving operational efficiency and financial performance.

POSITION INFO:
A well-established hospitality group is looking for a Cost Controller to join its finance team. In this role, you'll oversee inventory controls, monitor stock movements, analyse costs, and identify opportunities to improve profitability across the business. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual who enjoys working closely with operations, investigating variances, and implementing effective cost-saving initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Manage stock control and inventory processes. Conduct stock counts and reconcile variances. Monitor supplier deliveries and invoice accuracy. Analyse food and beverage costs. Prepare cost and variance reports. Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements. Assist with budgeting and forecasting. Ensure compliance with internal controls and procurement procedures. Partner with operational teams to improve efficiency and profitability Job Experience and Skills Required: Degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Minimum 2-3 years' experience in Cost Control, Stock Control, or a similar role. Hospitality or manufacturing industry experience is essential. Strong inventory management and costing experience. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with Micros POS. Infor HOS and Sage X3 experience advantageous. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
