POSITION INFO:
Consulting Engineering firm that handles “World-class rebuild optimization projects” are growing their support team and require Cost Engineers to support their Project Management Team in managing multiple (small to medium-sized projects) in a highly-pressurized and challenging environment for a demanding and professional client that only expects excellence. You will be based at the client’s site in Rustenburg.
Position details:
Primary purpose:
Estimates for overall execution of projects. Forecasting. Management of cost control system. Develop cash flow schedules and projections for latest cost forecast. Budgets/ financial and cost control in a project environment. Estimates in project work breakdown structures. Ethical standards related to Cost Control applicable to Projects as per PMI standards. Cost engineering in mining. Build departmental, interdepartmental and client relationships. Build trustworthy relationship with client (a Blue Chip Mining House). Maintain high ethical standards.
