SUMMARY:
The successfull candidate will lead efforts to reduce product costs and optimize the supply chain through strategic procurement, value engineering, and inventory management. This role is integral to driving cost efficiency while maintaining quality and compliance within the company’s ERP-driven production environment.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities: Analyze product and component cost structures and lead value engineering initiatives to reduce costs without compromising quality. Manage strategic procurement, negotiate with suppliers, and develop supplier performance metrics to optimize pricing and reduce risks. Align procurement and inventory policies with cash-flow targets, implement just-in-time principles, and monitor inventory KPIs. Develop and manage order-based procurement planning processes to ensure timely ordering of critical components. Oversee ERP\/MRP system configuration related to procurement and cost data to ensure accurate production planning and cost control. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, finance, and IT teams to drive value engineering and procurement efficiency. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or related. 5-10 years' experience in manufacturing or industrial environments in cost\/value engineering, strategic procurement, or supply chain planning. Strong expertise with ERP\/MRP systems for product costing, BOMs, purchasing, and inventory management. Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Solid understanding of product costing, manufacturing processes, and supply chain principles including JIT and inventory management.
