POSITION INFO:
A well-established company within the manufacturing sector is seeking a Cost and Financial Accountant to join their finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing product costing, analysing manufacturing costs, and supporting the financial accounting function to ensure accurate reporting and business decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Manage costing processes from raw materials through to finished goods Conduct cost analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities Apply and support Zero-Based Costing methodologies Monitor and analyse manufacturing variances and operational costs Maintain and update product costing models Assist with month-end financial processes and reconciliations Support financial reporting and analysis requirements Ensure accuracy and integrity of cost and financial information Work closely with operational and production teams to improve efficiencies Utilise SAP for costing, reporting, and financial functions Job Experience and Skills Required: BCom degree completed Studying towards CIMA (highly advantageous) Minimum 4 years' relevant finance experience Manufacturing industry experience is essential Strong costing experience is non-negotiable Proven experience costing from raw materials to finished products Understanding and exposure to Zero-Based Costing principles SAP experience is non-negotiable Financial accounting experience, including reconciliations Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently Apply now!
