POSITION INFO:
Our client, a leading manufacturing business in the area, is looking for a hands-on Cost and Management Accountant to take full ownership of product costing and drive improved financial and operational performance.

ð Your Key Responsibilities:

ð¹ Costing Function:
- Maintain, review and update standard costing models
- Analyse product and production costs, overhead allocations, and variances
- Conduct detailed product profitability analysis
- Work with procurement and production to drive cost efficiencies
- Support accurate BOM and pricing processes
ð¹ Management Accounting:
- Prepare monthly management accounts and reports
- Perform variance analysis and support budgeting and forecasting
- Analyse trends in manufacturing costs and performance metrics
- Partner with department heads on financial performance
ð¹ Operational Support:
- Work closely with the supply chain, production, and finance teams
- Assist with inventory and stock take processes
- Support internal controls and help drive continuous improvement

â Requirements:

BCom in Accounting / Cost & Management Accounting (essential)
CIMA qualification (or studying toward it – advantageous)
3+ years’ experience in a similar costing/management accounting role
Exposure to manufacturing or production environments
Advanced Excel skills and comfort with ERP systems
Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset
