An industry-leading organisation in the logistics and manufacturing space is looking for a Cost and Management Accountant who wants more than month-end reporting. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and analyse product costing, margins, and profitability reports. - Develop and maintain cost models, budgets, and forecasts. - Monitor inventory, manufacturing costs, and variances, providing actionable insights. - Partner with operational teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiencies. - Prepare monthly management accounts and performance reports. - Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning processes. - Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with internal controls and company policies. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function. Job Experience and Skills Required: Education: - BCom Degree in Finance. - Completed SAICA articles is essential. Experience: - Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Cost and Management Accounting role. - Experience within the logistics, manufacturing, or a similar operational environment is essential. - Strong understanding of costing methodologies, inventory management, and financial analysis. - Proven ability to engage with operational stakeholders and provide commercial insights. Skills: - Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. - Experience working on ERP systems will be advantageous. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
