Country Operations Manager / Commercial Head

SUMMARY:
A high-impact senior leadership opportunity for a commercially astute operator to lead a QSR equity business in Zambia. You will own the strategic direction, operational performance, and P&L, driving brand growth across Operations, Finance, HR, Training, and Stakeholder Management.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Strategy & Leadership: Set and execute country growth strategy; lead cross-functional teams; embed corporate governance and a people-first culture
• Operations: Manage the annual operational plan, uphold brand standards, and implement SOPs for operational excellence
• Supply Chain & Development: Execute restaurant expansion, oversee supply chain strategy, and deliver quality builds on time and within budget
• People: Drive talent acquisition, local talent development, and coach teams to maximise performance
• Finance: Lead capex and budgeting; ensure financial discipline against sales and profit targets
• Marketing & Risk: Deliver the Marketing Calendar, build strategic partnerships, and maintain the Risk Register

• Degree in Business, Marketing, or Finance; MBA advantageous
• Minimum 10 years' senior Operations or Commercial experience with direct P&L accountability
• Background in QSR, retail, FMCG, or multi-outlet environments essential
• Proven people development, stakeholder management, and change leadership capability
• This role is restricted to Zambian nationals.
• Valid, unendorsed Zambian driver's license
• Clear criminal history
