Creative Content and Design Specialist

SUMMARY:
Ballito - A leading fragrance, cosmetics and personal care brand is seeking a talented and trend-driven Creative Content & Design Specialist to join their marketing team.

POSITION INFO:
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging, on-trend digital content that brings the brand to life across social and digital platforms, with a strong focus on TikTok and short-form video.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate marketing ideas into compelling and commercially effective creative content for digital, social, and retail channels.
• Create and produce trend-led content, with a strong emphasis on short-form video and TikTok, to enhance the brand’s presence and connect with the audience.
• Conceptualize and execute high-volume creative assets, including social media posts, advertising creatives, e-commerce visuals, and in-store marketing materials.
• Support the creative execution for all brands ensuring a cohesive and collaborative approach.
• Continuously monitor industry trends and identify new content opportunities that align with the company's marketing objectives.
• Prepare and deliver production-ready artwork for both digital and print formats, maintaining the highest quality standards.
• Effectively manage multiple creative projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Deliver a minimum of two short-form video pieces (Reels/TikTok) per week across at least two of the brands.
• Consistently produce high-quality digital media assets as briefed by the Digital Manager, aligned with the campaign timelines.
• Produce at least one direct marketing creative element per week to support customer communication initiatives.

• A diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media, Marketing Design, or a related field.
• 3-4 years of experience in a fast-paced commercial creative environment, preferably in the retail, beauty, or lifestyle sector.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to translate marketing briefs into commercially successful creative content.
• Proven experience in high-volume asset creation across various digital and social media platforms.
• High proficiency in Canva and the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
• A strong understanding of graphic design principles across both digital and print media.
• A deep understanding of platform-specific creative requirements for Meta, TikTok, e-commerce, and WhatsApp.
• Exceptional short-form video skills, with the ability to conceptualize and produce engaging content in response to marketing briefs.
• A natural curiosity for customer behavior and a keen awareness of social media culture and emerging trends.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
