A well-established company in the FMCG sector is seeking an experienced and dynamic Credit Control Supervisor to join their team in the Durban area.
 
Minimum Requirements:
 

• Relevant Degree in Finance, Accounting, Credit Management, or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in a supervisory or management position within the financial sector.
• Previous FMCG industry experience is non-negotiable.
• Clear criminal record.
• Proven experience in credit control and debt collection management.
• Excellent supervisory, leadership, and people management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver results under pressure.
• Ability to multitask, prioritise workload, and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy when handling financial records.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial systems.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the Credit Control Department. Oversee all operational aspects relating to credit control and accounts receivable. Manage banking processes and ensure accurate reconciliation of accounts. Prepare and analyse age analysis reports and take appropriate action on overdue accounts. Compile and review daily Accounts Receivable (AR) consolidated reports. Ensure customer statements are accurately prepared and distributed timeously. Monitor debtors' accounts and implement effective collection strategies. Ensure accurate financial record keeping and reporting. Liaise with internal departments and customers to resolve account queries. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and financial controls. Perform additional duties related to the credit control function as required.
