JOB SUMMARY:
Position available for a Credit Controller in the East Rand
Successful incumbent must have experience dealing with large volume of customers and high book values.
3-6 months contract role

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:

Matric
Credit Management 1, 2 or 3 or any Financial Courses (in process of studying )
Experience in an open item and balance brought forward system
Must have more than 5 years’ experience in Credit Control
Experience working with over 350 clients
Managed book values up to R40 million+
Computer Literate
Microsoft Excel – Advance

PERSONAL SKILLS:

Team Player
Sound communication skills
Ability to work under pressure
Leadership skills
Ability to achieve set Targets and Collections

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

- Must be figure orientated
- Function in a Regional environment working with Branch Accounts
- Reconciliations on accounts 60 days and over is an inherent job requirement
- Excellent follow up on overdue accounts
- Processing of payments
- Make decisions as to when account need to be sent to legal for hand over to attorneys
- Follow up on unallocated bank deposits
- Strong theoretical understanding of Credit Control
- Work systematically to achieve set goals
- Adhere to Audit policies and procedures
- Adhere to company’s policies and procedures
