JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our Client is currently looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their team.

Responsible for collecting debts from our company debtors
Responsible for assessing credit applications
Ensuring timely payments of company debts by and adhering to company payment policies.
Maintaining records for invoices, maintaining the sales ledger
Monitoring of the age analysis and follow-up on all overdue accounts
Monthly and weekly Debtor Collection reports
Debtor Recons
Monthly Statements
Daily matching
Creating and upholding payment procedures and policies that ensure timely payment.
Responding to client queries.
Keeping customer retention levels high.
Reconciling accounts.
Providing administrative support to the finance team.
Keeping a close watch on debtor account balances.

Key Skills
Excellent communication skills. Confidence and persistence. The ability to keep calm under pressure. Strong IT skills. Good numeracy skills. Ability to use spreadsheets Able to clearly explain financial matters Business acumen High attention to detail Problem solving skills The ability to prioritize a heavy workload Good analytical skills More than just a debt collector.
