JOB SUMMARY:
Credit Controller

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Main Responsibilities:

1. Management of Debtor Accounts / Debt Collecting:

Updating and Maintaining Address Book
Correspondence with debtors regarding overdue accounts
Debt Collection
Reconciliation of accounts on JD Edwards & Excel
Resolving of all Debtor Queries: (i.e., copy of invoice, allocation issues, credit notes etc.)
E-mailing credit notes, invoices, Pod’s, and statements to customers.
Requesting remittances from debtors
Placing delinquent account payers on hold and releasing hold.
Handing over of delinquent debtors to Lawyers
Preparing and distribution of monthly statements to customers/debtors
Ensuring the normalisation and rehabilitation of irregular accounts.
Credit monitoring of customer accounts
Completing letters of demand
Maintenance of the debtor’s ledger and age analysis
