POSITION INFO:
We’re seeking an experienced Credit Risk Modeller with strong technical depth to design, build, and deploy predictive scorecard models from the ground up. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in shaping lending decisions and driving credit strategies built on robust analytics and strict regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement high-performing application and behavioural scorecard models.
Manage the complete model lifecycle independently — from initial concept to go-live.
Identify and engage the right stakeholders across credit, compliance, data, and business teams.
Ensure all models meet IFRS9, Basel, and internal governance requirements.
Research and test new modelling approaches, datasets, and optimisation opportunities.
Lead thinking on model innovation and strategy, not just execution

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Demonstrated track record of building credit scorecards from scratch.
Strong grasp of the credit lifecycle, governance processes, and their impact on decision-making.
Comfortable leading projects independently and driving results without direct oversight.
Creative, forward-thinking approach to problem-solving.
Solid knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in credit risk.
Skilled in analytical tools such as Python, SAS, R, or SQL

Requirements:

Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field.
Minimum 4 years’ experience in credit risk modelling or quantitative analytics.
Proven experience handling large datasets and building credit models based on data-driven insights.
