POSITION INFO:
We’re looking for a Credit Risk Modeller to join our team and build scorecards that don’t just tick boxes but drive smarter, faster, and more profitable credit strategies. This is your opportunity to combine technical mastery with strategic influence in an environment where your ideas matter.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Build and implement application and behavioural scorecard models from the ground up.
Take complete responsibility for the entire modelling process, from initial concept through to deployment.
Partner with credit, compliance, data, and business stakeholders to ensure that goals are aligned.
Maintain adherence to IFRS 9, Basel standards, and internal governance, while ensuring flexibility and efficiency.
Explore innovative techniques, alternative datasets, and advanced modelling methods to stay ahead of industry trends.
Serve as a strategic influencer, shaping credit strategies and guiding key decision-making.

What You Bring:

Demonstrated experience in building credit scorecards end-to-end.
Strong knowledge of the credit lifecycle, model governance practices, and regulatory requirements.
A self-driven, independent approach—confident in leading initiatives and challenging conventions.
Proficiency in Python, SAS, R, or SQL for model development and optimisation.
Advantageous: Machine learning expertise or experience with alternative data sources.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 4 years’ experience in credit risk modelling or quantitative analytics.
A Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a similar quantitative discipline.
Hands-on experience managing large datasets and delivering production-ready models.
