SUMMARY:
We are partnering with a leading advisory-driven analytics environment to appoint a Credit Risk Analyst into a high-calibre team specialising in credit risk and capital optimisation. This opportunity is well suited to a numerically strong individual eager to expand their experience in risk modelling, regulatory frameworks, and data-driven decision-making.

POSITION INFO:
In this role, you will contribute as a technical specialist across the development, enhancement, and validation of credit risk models. You’ll gain exposure to a wide range of projects across different financial institutions, working on impairment modelling, scorecard development, and capital-related analytics.

The environment offers strong exposure to modern analytical tools, with hands-on work in programming languages such as Python, R, and SAS.

Key Responsibilities

Design and enhance credit risk models across impairment and capital frameworks
Contribute to independent model validation and review processes
Support implementation, optimisation, and automation of models
Work closely with cross-functional quantitative and analytics teams

Requirements

Honours or Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Quantitative Finance)
Minimum of 1 year’s experience within a quantitative credit risk or analytics role
Solid grounding in statistical and analytical modelling techniques
Proficiency in at least one of the following: Python, R, or SAS
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical insights into business context
