POSITION INFO:
Role: Head of Fixed Income Category: Investment Management Location: Centurion Salary: Market-Related A leading asset management company is seeking an experienced Head of Fixed Income to lead their fixed income team and drive strategic growth. This is a senior leadership role that requires a deep understanding of fixed income markets, portfolio management, and credit analysis. Responsibilities: Lead and manage the fixed income team, overseeing investment strategies, research, and risk management. Collaborate with the CEO and stakeholders to develop and expand the firm''s fixed income offerings. Oversee the construction and management of fixed income portfolios, ensuring performance targets and risk parameters are met. Conduct market analysis, identify investment opportunities, and implement risk management practices. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders. Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous learning within the team. Requirements: Postgraduate degree, with a Masters in Investments or a similar field preferred. Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or other relevant professional qualifications are an advantage. 10+ years of portfolio management experience. 5-8 years of senior leadership experience within the fixed income sector. Proven track record of investment performance and deep knowledge of capital markets. Strong understanding of South African and international macroeconomic drivers. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
