Are you ready to elevate your career with a market leader in the Automotive sector? My client is seeking a highly organized and detail-driven Creditors Clerk to join their finance team. This role plays a critical part in managing reconciliations, maintaining accurate vendor accounts, and ensuring timely payments - all contributing to optimized cash flow and strong supplier relationships.

As a Creditors Clerk, you will be responsible for the following:

• Verifying the accuracy and compliance of creditor documentation
• Ensuring tax invoices meet legal requirements
• Requesting and managing supplier statements
• Processing and authorizing supplier payments
• Managing the full vendor onboarding process
• Identifying and correcting discrepancies or irregularities
• Maintaining GRIR accounts and vendor aging schedules
• Administering supplier contracts (local and international)
• Managing a portfolio of branch suppliers handled by Head Office
• Addressing supplier and branch queries promptly
• Reconciliation of invoices, statements, and ERP system entries
• Submitting EFTs for review at least two days prior to month-end
• Conducting vendor aging analysis and explaining long-outstanding items
• Ensuring vendor payments align with agreed terms and conditions
• Building strong internal and external stakeholder relationship
• Coordinating with Procurement and Admin to resolve GRIR issues
• Handling both automatic and manual reconciliations
• Supporting with workload balancing and vendor account rotation
• Processing EFT payments and resolving interdepartmental queries
• Collaborating with Debtors and Sales to reconcile supplier deductions
• Managing foreign supplier payments and confirming B-BBEE status
• Capturing credit card transactions accurately and on time
• Processing expense claims and intercompany balances
• Assisting with budgeting and journal processing
• Overseeing all activities within the payment cycle
