JOB SUMMARY:
Our client in the freight logistics industry is looking for a qualified Creditors Clerk to join their team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Deliverables:

Process and capture invoices by specified deadline.
Process and allocated costs to the correct codes.
Ensure relevant information is indicated on the invoice for data capture (if applicable)
Raising queries - and following through until resolved
Prepare complete and accurate vendor reconciliations for payment
Obtain authorization for payment
Submit for payment within deadline
Loading of payments on bank
Allocating of payments against remitted invoices
Forwarding POP's & remittances to vendors upon request
Enforce SARS compliance of all vendor invoices
Ensure proper processes and procedures are followed at all times aligned to company requirements
Process and review accuracy of invoices at all times.
Obtain authorization for all costs
Verify of costs on invoices against relevant source documents
Confirm and verify no duplication of charges
Maintain vendor card that always agrees with the approved vendor credit application
Inform internal suppliers of incomplete source information
Ensure cordial relationships with internal and external vendors and/or suppliers to the benefit of the company
Managing workflows

Additional Experience Preferable:

3 years creditors experience
Experience within the shipping and or logistics industry advantageous
Matric / Grade 12
