JOB DESCRIPTION:

The above-mentioned career opportunity currently exists within the R&D Department.

Reporting to the Head of Development & Marketing: Sub-Sahara Africa, the successful candidate will be responsible for promoting Oro Agri technology and ensuring correct positioning of company products.

Responsibilities:

Management of commercial trials in a specific sales area to demonstrate product value to Oro Agri clients
Summarise and share main trends and agronomic practices
Position Oro Agri products in client spray programs
Plan and coordinate event attendance per designated area
Participate in marketing campaigns to grow Oro Agri brand
Relationship building with commercial staff and clients
Implement and ensure correct use of company brand guidelines in all communication material
Personnel training
Coordinate handout distribution and maintain inventory
Assist Marketing Coordinator with communication, calendar planning, etc.
Support Marketing and Development Head with marketing events, merchandise planning, launches, etc.

Requirements:

Post graduate degree in Agronomy or Agriculture
2-4 years’ experience in a similar role
Excellent people & processes leadership skills
Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organisational and personal sales skills
Strong oral and written communication skills (fluent in Afrikaans and English, other languages will strengthen the application)
Excellent interpersonal skills
Customer-oriented approach
Ability to manage multiple projects
Commitment to working with shared leadership and in cross-functional teams

A market-related remuneration package will be negotiated based on experience and qualifications.
