JOB SUMMARY:
A leading company specializing in the supplying of life science consumables and instrumentation is looking to employ a Customer Service Specialist on a 5month contract, to join their dynamic team based in the Northern Suburbs. You will perform key client liaison and sales order administration role to support sales.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:
  • Handles and responds to a wide variety of quotation requests, purchase orders and general customer enquiries.
  • Draws up quotations, completes RFQs and processes sales orders as required.
  • Identifies required products and is committed to developing level of product knowledge appropriate to the position.
  • Communicates details of product promotions to customers.
  • Acts as client liaison relating to product availability, delivery information, pricing and quotations and refers to Sales Specialist / Applications Specialist/ Product Manager where applicable.
  • Responds to complaints from customers and takes ownership of complaint completion cycle.
  • Meets all turnaround targets for sales coordination outputs.
  • Assists in the general administrative functions required in the customer service team.
Skills and Requirements:
  • Matric with mathematics and science.
  • Tertiary administrative qualification – preferably imports and exports focused.
  • Minimum 3 years’ track record of customer service orientation- preferably in a medical diagnostic/laboratory supplier environment.
  • Strong Customer Service orientation.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.
  • Fully proficient in MS Office 365 (Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Proficient in ERP/CRM system- preferably SAP B1.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Initiative, self-driven, appropriately assertive.
  • Ability to prioritize and work under pressure.
  • Proficient and confident verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent team player with the ability to work independently when required.
