JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for a dynamic, motivated and self-driven Cyber Security Consultant that can operate autonomously in a highly competitive Cybersecurity market with a very strong focus on UEM & Security (Endpoints, Mobile Devices, OT/IoT).

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job role requires:

Find the most efficient way to protect the system, networks, software, data and information systems against any potential attacks.
Implement vulnerability testing, threat analyses, and security checks.
Perform research on cyber security criteria, security systems, and validation procedures.
Testing and analysing assets for potential security threats.
Identifying possible security threats and determining the best security measures.
Designing, implementing and maintaining security protocols, policies, plans, and systems to cover all possible security threats.
Calculate accurate cost estimations and categorize integration issues for IT project teams.
Plan and design healthy security architectures for any IT project.
Investigate and provide security solutions using business-standard analysis criteria.
Deliver technical reports and official papers relating to test findings.
Give professional supervision and guidance to security teams.
Update and upgrade security systems as required.
Meeting with clients to discuss security measures, provide information, and explained the designed system.
Running risk assessment and security tests and designing countermeasures to eliminate as many potential risks as possible.
Compiling and presenting reports on the test results.
Suggesting improvements to existing security systems.
Remaining up to date with the latest security systems, tools, trends, and technology.
Training staff to recognize and defend against security breaches and risks.

Computer Software Background:

(Level 1 to 5, where 5 is high)
Endpoint Management – Level 2
Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) – Level 2
Bash or PowerShell Scripting – Level 3
Windows or Linux OS Administration Knowledge – Level 3
TCP/IP Networking Knowledge – Level 3
SIEM Deployment or Analytics – Level 3
Database Architecture Knowledge – Level 3
Excel, Word and PowerPoint Knowledge – Level 4
Programming C or Python or Java or .Net – Level 2

Background and Years of Experience:

5-7 years IT Experience
Minimum matric but an IT Qualification will be an advantage
