Duties:

Configuration, monitoring, and management of anti-virus Infrastructure
Data leakage prevention system, rules, and reports
Scan, report, and provide remediation actions to track compliance
Issuing, renewing, and revoking digital certificates
Assess internet and email use on request of various departments
Review firewall rule configuration and report
Report on the status of the cybersecurity control environments on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
Improve the effectiveness and efficiency of monitoring and response controls

Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:

Matric (Grade 12)
Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Science, Information Technology) or equivalent NQF 7 level qualification
Cybersecurity certification (Advantageous)

Experience:

3 - 5 years’ experience in cybersecurity
Network experience would be advantageous
Operating system management and hardening (Windows, Linux, CIS hardening baselines)
Anti-virus system management and configuration
Information security operations (Security+, CISSP)
Experience working with web and email content filtering systems
A solid understanding of public key infrastructure
