A well-established dental practice in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal, is looking for a dynamic and experienced Dental Practice Manager to lead their administrative and operational functions. The ideal candidate will be an organised, proactive individual with strong interpersonal skills and proven experience managing a busy dental environment.

Candidates with experience using Elixir Live practice management software will be highly preferred. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to join a supportive team and help drive excellence in patient care and daily practice operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the dental practice
• Managing patient flow, appointment scheduling, and front-desk operations
• Ensuring exceptional patient experience and communication
• Supervising and supporting administrative and clinical staff
• Maintaining accurate patient records and billing information
• Managing stock and inventory, including ordering dental supplies
• Liaising with service providers, medical aids, and suppliers
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
• Generating reports and assisting with financial and operational planning
• Implementing and improving practice systems and workflows

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a Dental Practice Manager (or similar role)
• Proficiency in Elixir Live is advantageous
• Excellent communication and people management skills
• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional demeanour and a patient-focused approach

Salary: R15 000 – R25 000 per month (depending on experience)
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30 & Every alternate Saturday, 08:15 – 12:30
