Purpose of the Role

Lead the Data & Analytics Centre of Excellence (COE) to transform the organization into an Insight Driven Organisation (IDO). You will design and implement a comprehensive data strategy, leveraging technologies like AI, Machine Learning, and RPA to drive intelligent business decisions and sustainable growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics.
• 5+ years of experience in Analytics or Business Intelligence (Supply Chain experience preferred).
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and manage vendor/partner relationships.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and team development skills.
• Manage budget/buying spend
• Select standard technologies, allocate annual IT budgets for analytics, and determine when to outsource tasks to consultants.
• Responsible for staff performance monitoring, selection, and coaching for a team of direct and indirect reports.

Technical Skills:

Expert Knowledge: SQL, Data Management Frameworks, and BI tools (Power BI & Excel).

Platforms: Experience with Azure, SAP R/3 & BW, and databases is essential.

Tools: Proficiency in SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, and version-control systems (e.g., Azure DevOps).

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy & Innovation: Deliver a 5-year data and analytics roadmap in conjunction with the Supply Chain Intelligence Executive.
• Solution Design: Build and manage a technology stack that supports key initiatives while simplifying the IT landscape and reducing costs.
• COE Leadership: Lead, mentor, and support a team of analysts; prioritize projects and maintain critical data infrastructure.
• Stakeholder Partnership: Act as a thought partner to departments, translating complex data into actionable insights through reports and self-service dashboards.
• Project Management: Oversee the full project lifecycle using Agile methodologies to ensure quality, scope, and cost requirements are met.
• Data Governance: Ensure full compliance with PoPIA and GDPR while establishing robust information security and data management policies.
