Formal Education

1. Grade 12
2. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics.
3. Preferred: Microsoft DevOps certifications, Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft SQL Sever Integration Services Certification.

Work Experience

1. Minimum of 5 - 7 years experience in Data Analysis, Data Modelling, Data Extract – Transform – Load, Data quality assurance and Data cleansing, and Data Visualisation and Reporting.
2. Prove experience in Data Modelling.
3. Proven experience in Business Intelligence, reporting, and data visualisation
4. Proven experience in Data Extraction, Transformation and Load (ETL).
5. Experience working with MS Power BI, MS SQL Server Integration Services, and MS Power Automate.
6. Familiarity with agile development environments.

5. Design and implement Data Models – using schemas such as Star Schema or Snowflake Schema.
6. Word with DevOps Engineer in the creation of Data Warehouse, Table structures and views.

8. Participate in the Extract, Transform and Load of Data to the Data Warehouse.
9. Responsible for data cleansing, data accuracy and data integrity.

12. Retrieve and analyse data from the Data Warehouse.
13. Construct reports and dashboards to visualise data.
