Data Analyst (Mid-Senior Level) – Independent Contractor

SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking an independent contractor to contribute to a strategic initiative focused on creating an advanced analytics layer within an enterprise data platform. This role supports predictive analytics, automated reporting, and real-time dashboards tracking over 300,000 beneficiaries across multiple initiatives.

POSITION INFO:
Data Analyst (Mid-Senior Level) – Independent Contractor
Contract: 6-month fixed-term (renewable)
Location: Bryanston, Johannesburg (Hybrid – 2 days in office, 3 days remote)
Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop role-based dashboards for Executives, Program Managers, and stakeholders
• Build predictive models for beneficiary success prediction and program optimization
• Automate organizational scorecards and impact reports
• Analyze cross-initiative data patterns and ecosystem insights

• Expert-level Power BI or Tableau
• Advanced SQL for complex queries
• Python or R for statistical analysis
• Experience with predictive modeling techniques
• Strong dashboard design and UX skills
• Statistical analysis and forecasting expertise
• Report automation tools proficiency

• Experience with impact measurement metrics
• Familiarity with Theory of Change frameworks
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform
• Basic machine learning skills
• CRM analytics experience

• 4-6 years in data analysis roles
• Experience with organizational KPIs and scorecards
• Proven track record building executive-level dashboards
• Understanding of non-profit or social impact metrics preferred
