Data Analytics & Management – Big Data- Solution Advisor / Lead Solution Advisor /Senior Solution Advisor - 1 year contract position

SUMMARY:
Our Data Analytics & Management practice helps clients in identifying, developing and implementing solutions for analytics enablement.

Work you’ll do
Essential job requirements include:
• Analyze client requirements, perform due diligence, and design solutions
• Work with team members to build analytics solutions and present them to senior management and/or clients
• Execute on data management and data analytics engagements to help clients monitor, mitigate, and sustain risks
• Interact with clients and engagement teams to coordinate project work and ensure client satisfaction
• Continue to expand depth and breadth of technical knowledge related to data management and business analytics
• Build business and industry knowledge in one or more industries
• Build personal and team capability in technical / business / industry area
• Work on practice development activities, such as proposals, eminence, innovation
Key skills required include:
• Experience of handling and integrating large datasets and advanced programming skills in SAS / SQL Server / Big Data environments
• Strong programming background with emphasis on data management
• Experience of working with structured, semi-structured and unstructured datasets
• Sound understanding of Data Migration processes and ability to recommend design alternatives for data ingestion from variety of sources into different types of target databases.
• Detailed knowledge of Data Warehousing Concepts like OLAP cubes, data marts, data lakes, facts, dimensions, SCD Types.
• Experience in one or more Big Data platforms such as Apache Hadoop, Hive, Cloudera, Hortonworks and Non relational databases such as MongoDB
• Detailed knowledge and experience of using MapReduce and HDFS concepts
• Proficient in Big Data querying tools such as Pig, Hive, and Impala.
• Big Data developer skills using scripting languages like Python, R, Scala, PySpark, Java
• Experience in creating dashboards and generating reports using BI tools like SAP BO, Tableau, Power BI, Qlik
• Experience in data streaming tools such as Flume, Kafka, Storm is a plus
• Ability to develop data quality checks or perform data stewardship activities to create trusted information
• Experience in building data analytics solutions on cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, Azure is a plus
• Knowledge in any business domains preferably Banking (Lines of Business / Finance/ Risk functions), Internal Audit (Business processes & controls), AML (Anti Money Laundering), Fraud, Forensic, Cyber Security, Accounting is a plus

Qualifications Required
• Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred
• MBA/Equivalent with specialization in Finance
• Certification in Cloud (AWS/ Azure / GCP) Data analytics or AI/ML
• Certification in SAS or SQL Server or Other relational databases or big data platforms
