POSITION INFO:

Description:

The role requires a dynamic individual who will be reporting to the Information Solution Architect, as part of the Enterprise Architect team, the Information Architect ensures the alignment of the Data Architecture with the Business Strategy by analyzing, defining, and designing the data architecture required to achieve the organization’s information needs; ensures that the systems and tools can effectively deliver the current and decisions.

Education: 

• BSc Computer Science / Degree in Information Technology  

Experience:

• Up to 8 years experience in IT, with a minimum of 5 years in a BI technical role and a minimum of 3 years in a BI Technical Lead role
• Proven track record of delivering BI technical solutions.
• Proven application of Data Warehousing and BI best practices
• Proven track record of implementing innovative BI solutions leading to clear business benefits.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar with equivalent work experience in a related field.
• Technical skills required:

• SSIS
• Service Broker
• T-SQL
• Column Store Indexing
• Partitioning
• Near-Real-time processing
• Processing data in a distributed environment
• Database design / Data Warehousing (Kimball, Inmon, Data Vault)
• SQL Server Cluster
• Data Replication solution

Person Specifications:

• In-depth knowledge of Data Warehousing and Information/Data Architecture best practices
• In-depth knowledge of BI and Data environments, solutions, and implementations (end-to-end Data architecture and technologies)
• Experience in dimensional modeling, analyzing source systems, data flows, and delivering data architecture designs.
• Change-oriented supports and confronts challenges in creative ways
