JOB SUMMARY:
Permanent position open for Data Centre Technical Manager based in Bryanston to join a software development company. The candidate will be responsible for supervising, maintaining and establishing all aspects of the data center and end to end user to customer specifications, this role will help improve your knowledge and understanding the importance of acquiring detailed and accurate information concerning the operational capability of data center facilities.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

Make sure all policies are in agreement with data center services
Execute plans and projects with relevant teams
Manage various programs within their area
Detect and monitor bugs or any network issues and resolve the issues
Manage application traffic across multiple servers (IIS Farms, code synching and connectivity
Engage in RCA (Root Cause Analysis) processes appropriately
Identify bad SQL server performance and advice the SQL data team
Track errors and patterns
Demonstrates conscientiousness on cost adheres to budget requirements; keeps costs reasonable and contributes to staying within budget.
Manage expenses and stick to budget requirements
Adhere to security and safety procedures and policies.
Schedule and perform troubleshooting for services and ensure to meet SLA” s
Familiarize your self with client’s business and maintain relations
Attend to emergencies and client concerns
Produce and administer reports and reviews
Provide customer solutions to prevent conflict by identifying coordinating and managing customer expectations
Look after clients & suppliers and maintain solid relations
Learns the client's business and maintains a strong client focus.

Requirements:

Degree/Diploma in IT or relevant qualification
Experience in working with Servers, Sans, Networking, Capacity, DC Rack/Enclosures, structured cabling
Knowledge of AlwaysOn SQL Technology.
Applicable certifications: ASICS/Inventory Control, CompTIA, Microsoft, Network Certifications, PMP, ITIL, CDCP.
Expertise in Load Balancing, URL, MOS (Microsoft Operations Systems) Microsoft SQL server, VMware and rewrites of SSL and TLS
Skills using GrayLog, IIS, Event Viewer, ErrorLogs, SQL Profiler and Analyser.
