POSITION INFO:

Job Summary

A company in the FMCG sector is seeking a detail-oriented Data Clerk to join their team. The role is based in Gauteng and requires working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Capture and update data accurately into company databases and systems
Maintain and organize digital and physical records
Verify and correct data discrepancies
Process purchase orders, invoices, and delivery documentation
Assist with stock and inventory data capturing
Generate reports and spreadsheets when required
Maintain confidentiality of company information
Support the administrative and operations teams with data-related tasks
Ensure all documentation is properly filed and easily accessible

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 / Matric
2–3 years’ experience in a data capturing or administrative role
Strong computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience working with ERP or inventory systems is advantageous
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Good organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
