Additional resource required to supplement the clients Data Management team by managing the data migration sub stream

Requirements

• ERP Data Migration Experience (SAP and/or D365).
• Experience in managing large data migration projects as part of an ERP rollout across multiple countries.
• Understanding of the various tools, technologies and techniques available in the data migration space.
• Understanding of the data migration activities to ensure a timeous cutover with quality data.
• Managing the various stages of the data migration lifecycle within the broader project phases.
• Project plan creation and tracking
• Governance deliverables tracking, and project audits
• Data migration team management

Responsible

• Stream Lead – Data Migration
• Manage the delivery of a key stream of an ERP program
• Create plans, build alignment across stakeholders and track progress of deliverables across Design, Build, Testing, Deployment Cutover, PGLS phase of projects
• Manage integration points and dependencies between business, functional teams and the data migration team to ensure coordinated delivery with no disruptions.
• Manage project risks and issues
• Manage a data migration team to ensure key deliverables are known, deadlines are clear, and daily tracking is in place
• Manage status updates to senior management.
• Facilitate and guide problems resolution with vendors and CCBA team
• Defect monitoring and management within data migration testing
• Managing activities in the data migration and cutover phases of the project
• Ensure governance and compliance
