Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in either:

• Mathematics, Statistics,
• Information Technology or Business Informatics
• Computer Science, Engineering or Related Qualifications

Experience

• 5+ years of data management, data modelling, data architecture, data governance and/or data analytics experience
• Management Experience
• Practical experience with data tools such as SAS, Access/Excel, ACL, Idea, Qlik, SAP Hana Modelling, SAP Analytics.
• Practical experience with programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, ABAP, Java, C# or .Net.
• Demonstrated ability with assisting businesses in deriving value from existing data
• Previous consulting experience will be advantageous
• Demonstrated experience working across multiple functional projects to understand data usage and implications for data management.

As a Data Migration Team Lead in the Deloitte Analytics practice, you will need to understand the business and trends, and help clients comprehend and manage their data to better deliver information and insights to improve their organisational performance. You will support Senior Management and leadership to help clients maximize the potential of analytics and information to support their business objectives and improve their business strategy.

Your typical duties will include building high performing teams to deliver in client engagements, translate broader strategies into a compelling team vision and goals, applies deep knowledge of disruptive trends and competitor activity to drive continuous improvement and support the Data Analytics Senior Management and leadership in the implementation of strategic plan through the effective management of team.  On a daily basis you will be expected to manage staff and team progress on backlog items as well as perform technical activities like design and build of data migration components in the ETL / ELT processes.

Stakeholder management is a key requirement and as such, you will be required to engage with and manage various stakeholders, both internal to Deloitte and client specific, during project execution.
