Data Quality Specialist

POSITION INFO:

We are looking for a Data Quality Specilalist who will be working very closely with the Data Governance team, who will be setting out and embedding the Data Management Principles, Data Governance Framework and Data Standards, that will lay a foundation for the Data Quality Management stream.

Skills and experience required:

• 5+ years’ experience working in Data Management Practices, particularly in Data Quality
• 5+ years’ experience in implementing a Data Remediation Strategy

• Experience working with business and technical project stakeholders to translate business requirements into data requirements
• Experience in data management and a passion for driving value through data
• Experience defining data quality rules / business rules / validation/ data controls
• Knowledge of Cloud services, i.e. Azure (primary) and AWS (secondary)
• Ability to produce solutions using:
  o Microsoft Azure packages
  o Exposure to the Cloud environment
  o Microsoft Excel (Power Pivot, Power Query)
  o Microsoft SQL Integration Services
  o Microsoft SQL Analysis Services
  o Microsoft SQL Reporting Services
  o Microsoft Data Quality Services (or any data quality tool)
  o Microsoft PowerBI
