SUMMARY:
A leader in the Financial Service Space, Johannesburg seeks a Data Protection Consultant on a Contract basis. The specialist will develop and implement data protection products supporting multiple data protection legislation (GDPR, POPIA, CCPA etc).

POSITION INFO:

The Consultant will:

Provide specialist advice on privacy laws and access to information laws/regulations best practices
Promote the protection of personal information across the group
Implement the Data Privacy Framework
Use software solutions for compliance gap assessments
Use software solutions to conduct privacy impact assessments
Data mapping and control selection to mitigate data privacy and information security risks
Third-party data protection assessments and agreements (incl cross border transfer and personal information) - Review and mitigate gaps
Develop and implement data privacy metrics
Information security (Infosec) Risk Assessments
Data subject access requests (DSARs)
Implement Privacy Enhancing Technology (PETs)
Privacy Breach and Incident response
Report writing

Qualifications and Experience

IAPP certification (CIPP/E, CIPT, CIPM)
Information management e.g DAMA, CGEIT etc
NIST Privacy Framework V1.0 or similar experience (GAPP / AICPA/CICA Privacy Maturity Model)
ISO/IEC 27701 Privacy Information Management System (PIMS) experience
