Data and AI Consultant - Johannesburg – R500k to R700k per annum

POSITION INFO:

A global organization of independent professional services firms providing Audit, Tax and Advisory services, helping clients navigate complex strategic challenges using cutting-edge technologies such as AI, IoT, robotics, and advanced analytics seek a dynamic Data and AI Consultant with fresh perspectives to drive innovation and efficiency in client operations.

Responsibilities:

Engage in all phases of the project lifecycle, from strategy to implementation.
Support project execution using innovative software and technology solutions.
Analyse inefficiencies and recommend improvements in service delivery, technology usage, and governance.
Conduct research to identify root causes of business challenges.
Manage project controls, including risk assessment, budgeting, and status tracking.
Facilitate stakeholder engagement through interviews, meetings, and workshops.
Develop data models, reports, and presentations to drive decision-making.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelors, honours, or master''s degree in: Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Informatics, Computer Science, or Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Information).
Certifications in AI, Data, or Cloud Technologies (Microsoft AI Engineer, AWS Data Specialty, Microsoft Fabric Engineer, etc.) are advantageous.
Ability to work remotely and adapt to changing environments.
Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, SQL, Python, or Spark-based languages.
Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
Passion for innovation and emerging technologies.
