SUMMARY:
A well-established franchised motor dealership in Ballito is seeking an experienced Dealer Principal to lead all dealership operations. This executive role is responsible for driving profitability, leading departmental managers, ensuring OEM compliance, and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction across the sales, service, parts, and finance divisions.
POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership across all dealership departments. Drive revenue, profitability, and overall business performance in line with budgets. Lead, mentor, and performance manage departmental managers and their teams. Develop and implement business plans to achieve sales and operational targets. Ensure full compliance with OEM standards, dealership policies, and legislative requirements. Monitor financial performance, including budgets, GP, expenses, and cash flow. Oversee customer experience initiatives and resolve high-level customer concerns. Manage vehicle stock, departmental efficiencies, and operational processes. Build strong relationships with the OEM, suppliers, corporate clients, and key stakeholders. Foster a high-performance, customer-focused dealership culture. Minimum Requirements 3 - 5 years' experience in senior motor dealership management, with previous Dealer Principal experience preferred. Proven track record of achieving strong financial and operational results within a franchised dealership. Strong understanding of new and used vehicle sales, aftersales, parts, and F&I operations. Excellent commercial, financial, and strategic leadership ability. Experience managing OEM relationships and dealership compliance. Valid driver's licence. Relevant business or management qualification advantageous.
