We’re on the lookout for a results-oriented Dealmaker to lead the growth of our Commercial Property Finance offering. You’ll work in a fast-paced, strategic environment where your ability to win new business and structure tailored finance solutions will be celebrated.

POSITION INFO:

Proactively originate commercial property finance transactions through strategic networking and business development activities
Structure deals in line with company risk appetite and pricing models to achieve optimal credit outcomes
Drive growth of the commercial property finance portfolio by identifying new market opportunities and enhancing client relationships
Manage the end-to-end deal process, from client engagement through to final approval and disbursement
Collaborate with internal teams including Credit, Risk, and Legal to ensure alignment and successful execution of transactions
Stay abreast of industry trends and maintain a strong professional presence in the commercial property finance sector
Deliver on set revenue targets and contribute to the overall business strategy

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 2–5 years’ experience in B2B lending with a proven track record in sales and relationship management
Strong ability to source, originate, and close commercial property finance deals
Proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales/revenue targets
Skilled in identifying new business opportunities and building a robust pipeline
Expertise in structuring complex financial deals with strong commercial outcomes
Solid understanding of credit risk, pricing strategies, and financial modelling
Ability to balance risk and reward while aligning with credit policies
Skilled in managing and nurturing long-term relationships with corporate clients
High emotional intelligence and client-focused approach
Confident communicator with strong negotiation and presentation abilities

In-depth understanding of the commercial property finance market (advantageous)
Knowledge of economic trends and how they impact the property and finance sectors
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance standards in financial services
Strong problem-solving skills and commercial acumen
Ability to analyse complex financial information and make sound recommendations
Strategic mindset with an ability to contribute to broader business growth
Self-motivated, results-driven, and accountable
Able to work independently in a high-performance, fast-paced environment
Collaborative team player with a proactive approach

Qualification:
BCom Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Mathematics
Postgraduate qualification advantageous
