Debtors & Creditors Clerk (Imports & Exports)

We require a candidate who will be responsible for managing and following up on debtor and creditor related transactions as well as documentation related to import and export transactions.

• Duties include issuing all import and export related invoices.
• Verifying if invoices received are correct POD.
• Capture all loads on on Datafin and ShipShape.
• Update monthly import and export schedule.
• Match invoiced loads against transactions to ensure that all amounts balance.
• Follow up on debtor payments and resolving al queries raised by debtors.
• Prepare credit recons and managing payments.
• Follow up on outstanding creditors invoices.
• Update creditor payments that reflect on the general payment forecast.
• Allocation of payments against invoices in Pastel.
• Responsible for the import and export age analysis report.
• Responsible to manage all related import and export.
• Monthly reconciliation between systems.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Debtors and Creditors Clerk
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Pastel
• Matric (Grade 12)
• Excellent written and spoken command of English and Afrikaans.
• A valid Driver’s License and own Transport
• Experience in foreign, import and export transactions will be an advantage
