JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key Accountabilities & Key Activities

Preparation of Monthly Debtors Accounts & Financial Reporting:

• All statements to be sent out timeously to Agents for all VNL-managed properties
• All invoices to be emailed to Agents monthly
• Ensuring all debtors settle accounts by month-end, within agreed terms
• Ensuring all debtor's month-end reconciliations balance
• Ensuring Debtors Age Analysis is completed within the monthly timeline.

Revenue Maintenance

• Ensuring that bill-back revenue rates within OPERA are correct
• Ensuring that all bill-back revenue to Agents is routed and closed off correctly
• Ensuring the “End of day” within OPERA is run correctly for all properties, on a daily basis
Collection of funds due • Follow up on all customer (mostly Travel Agents) queries and outstanding debt, older than 30 days
• Ensuring all Debtor payments are allocated correctly on OPERA

Bank Deposits & VCS payments

• Ensuring all Bank deposits and VCS deposits are posted on OPERA
• Ensuring all International Bank deposits are received and posted on OPERA

Relationship Building

• Develop and maintain relationships with Customer and Front Ofice Team (Mostly Travel Agents Accounts Team)
• Maintain strong working relationships with, and have open and transparent communication between all members of the team.
• Actively nutures existing contacts to do the same.
Ad-Hoc Requests • Support the business as and when ad-hoc financial requests come in and provide information that is accurate, of a high standard and delivered within required timeframes

Qualifications

Relevant financial qualification
3-5 years of Debtors processing experience
Hospitality experience advantageous
Intermediate MS Office knowledge
Advanced OPERA knowledge
